A curated event by Anna Koch, Marie Fahlin, Frédéric Gies and Anna Pehrsson hosted a series of choreographic events within an installation at Weld in Stockholm.
Five Tender Days extended an invitation to a number of dancers and choreographers to respond to the space and the art works in it in such a way that the space was filled with a rolling series of interventions and events.

Silja Tuovinen, Alice Macenzie and Nefeli Gioti danced together.

Words from the curators

Weld’s open quiet space will feature Diana Orving’s newly created installation, Johan Thurfjell’s work Ascent, Roberto Peyre’s excerpt of Labryo, Lisa Grip’s photography and Thierry Mortier’s work this.

The exhibition contains choreographic events by Frédéric Gies, Anna Pehrsson, Marie Fahlin, Anna Koch and invited guests. The choreographers interact with, and are influenced by, the materials and objects that occupy the space. Proposals, works and try outs weave their way in. Between the artworks and their movements and the choreographic work, there are thin lines, seamless approaches and soft transfers.

The second space, the amphitheatre in Rålambshov Park, becomes an open space for choreography and art where bodies can be understood as recipients and transformers of form.

Here the interactive work Labryo by Roberto N Peyre/Barbara Crescimanno takes place together with Majula Drammeh, Anna Öberg, Shaya Khalil and Caio Marques in and around Roberto Peyre’s labyrinth of marble cross.

Frédéric Gies’ Technosomatic workshop, set to the music of DJ Fiedel, will also take place here and is open to anyone who likes to dance to techno. The workshop relates both to the somatic field (movement/educational practice) and to techno club/rave dance cultures.

Two spaces in dialogue where art and choreography flow through each other.
